Lit Fox Books is a nonprofit publisher based in Austin, TX and we are seeking a remote cover designer for unique and creative poetry book covers.
We expect to have approximately 2-4 cover projects per year.
All applicants should:
- Have a portfolio of book covers to share with us
- Have access to and experience with utilizing a wide variety of font types and styles
- Have extensive experience with Photoshop
- Be willing to work with ideas from the author and/or publisher, provide at least two cover options per project, and be willing to provide revisions
- Be friendly, especially if communicating with authors
- Be able to start immediately or by April 1st
Payment is $250-$350/project, commensurate with skills and experience.
