Landscape Design-Build Project Coordinator

Role Summary
The Design-Build Project Coordinator supports the design and construction teams by managing estimating, contracts, change orders, project scheduling, and client communication. This role helps translate design intent into clear project execution, working closely with designers and serving as a supportive point of coordination for field crews and foremen. This role works closely with field leadership and supports clear communication between the design team, office, and crews.
Applicants must be comfortable reviewing and working from construction drawings.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist with estimating, proposals, and project budgets using LMN software
- Prepare and manage contracts and change orders
- Support designers with light drafting, plan updates, and design coordination
- Review landscape plans and help communicate design directives to the field team
- Serve as a client communication point person during construction phases
- Create and manage crew schedules and project timelines
- Coordinate with designers to move projects from design through permitting and into construction, including permit tracking and correspondence
- Serve as a supportive point of contact for the foreman and field crews, helping ensure clear communication between office and field
- Procure material orders, vendor communication, and coordinate pickups/deliveries
- Maintain organized project folders, issue logs, and photo documentation
Required Skills
Ability to read landscape or construction plans
Bilingual English/Spanish Fluent
Experience with estimating, contracts, or construction documentation
Familiarity with LMN or similar project management software
Strong client and team communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in landscape architecture, architecture, or residential construction
Familiarity with planting plans and landscape materials
Additional Preferred Skills
- Ability to use AutoCAD for quantity takeoffs and minor plan adjustments
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design
- Experience with estimating software (LMN, Aspire, or similar)
What Success Looks Like
- Weekly schedules are accurate, current, and consistently executed
- Materials and subcontractors are coordinated in alignment with field production
- Change orders are processed promptly and documented clearly
- Projects maintain strong cost performance with limited budget variance
- Actual labor and material costs remain aligned with approved estimates
- Clients experience organized, responsive construction coordination

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
