Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 3D Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D models and visualizations for landscaping and architectural designs. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion and Adobe. Understanding of construction and design principles is required. The 3D Designer will collaborate closely with sales representatives and architects to bring innovative concepts to life through precise modeling and animation.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models using software such as SketchUp, Revit, NavisWorks, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Develop accurate schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documents for construction and manufacturing purposes.
- Generate realistic visualizations and animations (including 2D animation) to effectively communicate design intent.
- Assist in the development of construction documents and technical specifications utilizing AutoCAD
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation for all design projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with software including SketchUp and AutoCAD is required
- Proficiency in 2D animation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes and technical standards.
- Ability to interpret simple or complex drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams.
- Degree in design or similar field of study is preferred but not mandatory.
