Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative WordPress Content Manager/Designer to lead the development and management of engaging, user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in web design, front-end development, and content management, with a keen eye for aesthetics and user experience. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing layouts, optimizing website performance, and ensuring seamless integration with various technologies to deliver compelling digital experiences that align with organizational goals.
Duties
- Update, edit and maintain our company’s WordPress websites
- Create visually compelling, user-friendly website pages
- Monitor website performance and implement strategies to optimize speed and functionality
- Design and develop dynamic WordPress websites utilizing themes, plugins, and custom code to meet project specifications.
- Manage website content updates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that enhance user experience (UX) and interface (UI) design.
- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance across all devices and screen sizes.
- Optimize websites for search engine optimization (SEO), page speed, and accessibility standards.
- Monitor website analytics and data visualization tools to analyze user behavior and improve site engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience -WordPress website design, development, deployment and maintenance
- Working knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes and plugins
- Experience in performance optimization (caching, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, site speed)
- Strong knowledge of Google Tag Management
- Knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console
- Experience with Google Analytics/GA4 reporting
- Experience with Photoshop or other image editing tool
- Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.)
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
