Position Summary:
I am seeking Industrial Engineers to support a major process‑improvement initiative. In this role, you will conduct detailed time studies on an active production line to evaluate current workflows and uncover opportunities to enhance efficiency. The position begins with hands-on analysis of manual manufacturing processes and progresses into developing data‑driven recommendations to improve future operations. This is an excellent opportunity for Industrial Engineers who enjoy working on the production floor and driving measurable improvements in manufacturing performance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed time studies on existing manufacturing processes using stopwatch and Excel-based tracking methods.
- Observe and document current production workflows and manual operations on the manufacturing floor.
- Collect and analyze production data to establish baseline performance metrics.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within current processes.
- Develop recommendations to improve workflow efficiency, productivity, and process standardization.
- Collaborate with manufacturing leadership and production teams to understand operational challenges.
- Present findings and recommendations to support future process improvement initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- 1-3+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting time studies and process analysis in production settings.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows, productivity analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to collect and analyze operational data using Excel or similar tools.
- Comfortable working on the production floor and interacting with operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field strongly preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
