Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and engineering principles, with hands-on experience in design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical components. This role involves working on innovative projects that require collaboration across various engineering disciplines, ensuring the successful execution of designs from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.
- Create and analyze schematics, PCB layouts, and system designs using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project scheduling aligns with development timelines.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, or Perl for scripting and automation tasks.
- Implement FPGA designs and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system integration.
- Perform signal processing and debugging tasks to optimize system performance.
- Engage in manufacturing processes including surface mount technology (SMT) and soldering techniques.
- Develop firmware for embedded systems and work with SoC architectures.
- Apply knowledge of NEC standards to ensure compliance in all electrical designs.
Skills
- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with FPGA design, SystemVerilog, and quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical knowledge as it relates to electrical systems.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as Simulink for modeling complex systems.
- Ability to use vision inspection systems for quality assurance in manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of ARM architecture and its applications in embedded systems.
- Experience with debugging tools and methodologies to enhance system reliability.
