Our client, a well-known music entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Marketing Assistant. This role is hybrid in Santa Monica, CA.
*This is a 3-month W2 contract*
In this role, you’ll play a key part in executing marketing initiatives for upcoming releases while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. What You Will Be Doing
- Support Product Managers in executing marketing plans and strategies for releases
- Coordinate the creation of marketing assets (invites, posters, videos, etc.) from request through completion
- Develop and maintain key project documents, including one-sheets, timelines, and quote sheets
- Collect, organize, and manage artist assets (photos, artwork, logos, music, bios, etc.)
- Assist with shipping logistics and coordination of marketing materials
- Help organize and distribute marketing tools and assets for campaigns
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and provide administrative support as needed
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and routing marketing-related information
- Support additional operational needs such as travel booking, vendor contracts, calendars, and expenses
- Actively participate in team meetings and planning sessions
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or coordination role (music or entertainment industry preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
