Social Media Marketing Specialist
Full-Time | Miami, FL (Hybrid — must already live in South Florida)
About Sparo
Sparo is a fast-growing, performance-driven marketing agency based in Miami. We partner with ambitious brands across nonprofit, fintech, beauty, fashion, CPG, hospitality, and more—helping them grow through thoughtful strategy, standout creative, and disciplined execution.
Our team is collaborative, sharp, and deeply invested in doing excellent work. We move quickly, hold a high bar, and expect ownership at every level. This is not an agency for people who want to “check the box.” It is an agency for people who want to grow fast, contribute meaningfully, and be proud of what they ship.
The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist who is driven, detail-oriented, and obsessed with delivering high-level social content and results.
This role is both creative and strategic. You’ll manage social media for multiple client accounts, create and execute content across platforms, engage with communities, collaborate with internal teams and influencers, and stay ahead of trends—while maintaining Sparo’s standards for quality, consistency, and performance.
You should be someone who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and holds yourself to a high standard. If you care deeply about your work and want to keep leveling up, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Execution
- Plan, create, and execute high-quality social media content aligned with brand voice, client goals, and Sparo standards
- Write strong, on-brand copy for posts, reels, stories, and campaigns
- Create and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Design simple graphics and visual assets using Canva or similar tools
- Build and manage editorial calendars, ensuring content is delivered on time and at a high level
- Participate in and contribute to on-site content shoots, including capturing behind-the-scenes footage
Strategy & Optimization
- Support the development and execution of social media strategies across 4–6 client accounts
- Track trends, platform updates, and cultural moments—and apply them thoughtfully to client content
- Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to improve content, engagement, and results
Community & Collaboration
- Manage community engagement across social platforms (comments, DMs, interactions) in a timely, brand-appropriate way
- Assist with identifying, coordinating, and managing influencer partnerships and deliverables
- Collaborate closely with account managers, creatives, and the broader social team
Ownership & Team Contribution
- Manage tasks, deadlines, and priorities independently
- Support and help mentor social media interns
- Participate in internal strategy sessions and client meetings as needed
Who Thrives at Sparo
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Is proactive, accountable, and self-motivated
- Cares deeply about quality, details, and outcomes
- Moves quickly without sacrificing standards
- Is comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities
- Wants to grow within an agency environment and be surrounded by other high performers
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing
- Prior agency experience (full-time or internship) strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field—or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience creating short-form video content for brands (not just personal accounts)
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest
- Experience using tools like Canva, CapCut, and basic video editing software
- Ability to leverage AI tools to streamline workflows (captions, calendars, briefs, etc.)
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing multiple priorities independently
Pay & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000–$55,000, based on experience
- Hybrid work environment (on-site for ~3–4 client shoots per month)
- Monthly healthcare stipend
- Generous PTO policy
- Professional development and growth opportunities
- Supportive, high-performing team with room for advancement
