Position Title: Accounting Supervisor
Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Compensation: $48/hr – $60/hr
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Supervisor to join a growing and stable organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in overseeing general accounting functions, supporting the close process, and driving process improvements across the department.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced yet balanced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support financial reporting activities and maintain general ledger integrity
- Develop and enhance accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain and support the implementation of internal controls and compliance processes
- Coordinate with internal teams on financial inquiries and operational support
- Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audit requests
- Compile financial data and assist in preparing presentations for leadership
- Support insurance renewals and other corporate compliance-related activities
- Partner with leadership on special projects and process improvements
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) required
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to be hands-on
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
