Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 annually
Position Summary
A Buying role reporting to Footwear, focused on organizing buy reviews, managing data, and communicating sales analysis. The Assistant Buyer will be involved in all discussions and strategy on the global marketplace with a focus on the US region. The role will report in to the VP of Footwear.
Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of Buyer, assist in managing 25+ vendor accounts for all globally managed territories (US, CA, EU, UK)
- Reviewing vendor catalogues and sales material to prepare internal buy reviews
- Tracking inbound of products across all global region to advise on shipments to all doors and warehouses
- Analyzing sales for buy review or order book change recommendations
- Communicating with vendors on launch strategy for social posting of seasonal collections and release date product.
- Organizing reporting and appointments to the market calendar
- Organizing Buy Deadlines to the calendar for both seasonal offers and short-lead time offers
- Effectively communicate with vendors on all inquiries, inclusive of troubleshooting
Special Projects/Tasks
- Communicate with store managers, sales staff and operations on product feedback and inventory capacities
- Management of consolidated buysheets for seasonal and monthly PO creation
- Prepare and share weekly reporting for external vendors on performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 1-3 years of prior experience, inclusive of internships
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, inclusive of formulas, pivot tables, etc.
- Knowledge of G-Suite: G-mail, G-drive, etc.
- Strong data analysis skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong interest in sneaker culture and the fashion market
