About the Role
We run three agencies under one roof: Hey Mr, Madison Taylor Marketing, and Studio Motus and across all three, we manage social media and content for a diverse portfolio of clients. We're a small, tight-knit team that moves fast and takes real ownership of our clients' brands. This isn't a role where you manage one account and clock out. You'll be embedded across multiple client relationships, each with their own voice, audience, and goals.
As our Social Media Manager, you'll own social strategy, content creation, and execution for clients across all three agencies. That means adapting your tone, aesthetic, and approach depending on who you're showing up for and doing it at a high level, every time. You understand that CPG products has different needs than a B2B service firm, and you know how to make both feel like the content was made just for them.
Most importantly: you are obsessed with content. You think about it constantly. You notice what stops the scroll, what builds community, what falls flat and you bring that instinct to every client you touch. If creating content feels like a chore to you, this isn't the role. If it's genuinely what you love, keep reading.
This role is based in Denver, CO. You must be local! Our team works hybrid, with 2 days from home and the remainder in-office. You'll also travel periodically for on-location content shoots, so comfort behind a camera is a genuine requirement, not a bonus.
What You'll Do
Content & Strategy
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars for a portfolio of clients across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok, adapting platform strategy to each client's audience, industry, and goals.
- Write compelling copy and create or source visuals that feel native to each client's brand - not templated, not generic, but content that actually sounds like them.
- Build content strategies from scratch for new clients and refine ongoing strategies for existing ones, always with an eye toward growth and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with account managers and client teams to mine for story-worthy moments- launches, milestones, behind-the-scenes content, and client wins that deserve to be shared.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm shifts, and emerging formats (Reels, Stories, carousels, etc.) and proactively bring recommendations to clients before they have to ask.
Content Capture & Production
- Travel to and lead on-location content shoots for clients across all three agencies capturing photo and video content that actually performs on social.
- Operate camera equipment confidently and direct subjects, founders, team members, employees, products to get natural, on-brand shots that clients are proud to post.
- Handle basic post-production light editing, cropping, color, and formatting for platform-specific specs.
- Coordinate shoot logistics: scheduling, location scouting, and equipment prep.
Community Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across client channels in a timely, on-brand manner, representing each client's voice, not a generic agency voice.
- Build genuine engagement for clients not just likes, but real conversations that grow their audience and make them look good.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance metrics across all platforms and provide regular reporting with clear takeaways and recommendations.
- Use data to continuously refine content strategy know what's working, kill what isn't.
- Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, or similar scheduling/analytics platforms.
Who You Are
- 2–4 years of hands-on social media management experience, ideally at an agency or managing multiple brands simultaneously.
- Demonstrated camera experience. You know how to shoot quality photo and video content in real-world environments, not just a studio.
- Comfortable traveling for content shoots and taking ownership of the capture process start to finish.
- A strong, adaptable writer who can shift tone and voice across different brand personalities without losing authenticity.
- Comfortable using AI tools to support content ideation, copywriting, and workflow efficiency. You see AI as a multiplier, not a shortcut
- Paid social experience (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) — managing or supporting campaigns is a genuine bonus.
