Billing Specialist
Join a dynamic organization as a Billing Specialist to play a vital role in managing and streamlining our invoicing processes. In this engaging position, you will handle complex federal billing, review contracts, process purchase orders, and generate accurate invoices using Salesforce Billing. Your expertise will directly impact our financial operations, supporting internal teams and external customers across various global regions. We seek a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accounting or invoicing
- At least 1 year working with Salesforce Billing
- Strong understanding of procurement documents such as purchase orders and contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies independently
- Experience with federal billing and multi-currency transactions
- Critical thinking with attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with third-party billing portals (e.g., Ariba, Coupa)
- Background in sales or customer interaction
- Knowledge of basic tax principles and currency conversions
- Familiarity with cash application processes
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- Relevant work experience that demonstrates strong billing and contract management capabilities
- Exposure to multi-region billing and cross-functional collaboration
