Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site - Interior Design Assistant role based in Bountiful, UT. The Interior Design Assistant will provide support with design projects by assisting in space planning, drafting floor plans, sourcing and documenting furniture and materials, and creating visually compelling presentations for clients. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, maintaining clear communication with clients and contractors, and ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met efficiently. The candidate will also, handle detailed project documentation, and contribute to onsite project management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design practices, including an eye for aesthetics and functionality
- Strong skills in Space Planning, Floor Plans, and furniture selection tailored to client needs
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects within tight timelines
- Experience with software tools and design programs required.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and design trends is beneficial
- Relevant degree or certification in Interior Design is preferred
