Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Design Associate based in Miami, FL. The Interior Design Assistant will collaborate closely with the design team to support various tasks, including space planning, procurement, coordination with consultants, millwork, selecting furnishings, and managing design elements and timelines. Responsibilities include assisting with project coordination, maintaining documentation, and ensuring projects meet design standards, onsite execution and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design principles and knowledge of furniture selection and styling
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field is preferred
- Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with current trends in design and an understanding of sustainable practices
- Prior experience in project coordination or assisting in interior design projects is required
- Prior experience with a commercial developer is a plus
