*This is a hybrid role with an expectation to work in an office ~3 days per week.*
Disruptive Digital is a boutique agency based in New York that specializes in serving online businesses in hyper-growth mode, as well as more traditional businesses wanting to build out their direct-to-consumer/online sales offering. Founded by a former long-time Facebook employee, they’ve taken the many learnings gained from partnering with the leading health and wellness and ecommerce businesses in the US and applied them to their agency clients to accelerate success with Facebook, Instagram and other paid social and search channels.
The junior creative strategist for paid social and performance marketing is the bridge between the creative team and the media buyers. Media buyers root themselves in data and research to know what an ad needs to accomplish, but they can’t necessarily pin down the precise messaging that will resonate with the audience.
You will work with a team of creators and editors to form the messaging of the ad and serve as a conduit to the media buyers.
Your team’s goal is to contribute to the overall growth of their business through creative execution while upholding your clients’ design and creative standards.
Ideally, your knowledge of what made previous ads work, coupled with your understanding of data, will allow you to find creative ways to synthesize new ads.
You will translate advertising data into actionable new projects, insights into hypotheses to test with new ads, and turn brand goals into new ideas for the creative team to try.
The role of the junior creative strategist comes down to how well you can answer two questions:
- What do we do next?
- How do we do it?
