Role Description
Nuve is seeking a Sales Development Representative for a full-time, on-site role in Yorba Linda, CA. The primary responsibilities include identifying and managing sales leads, generating new business opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and cultivating key relationships to drive revenue growth. The role demands a professional with a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate the value of Nuve’s solutions tailored for the HVAC industry.
Compensation: $55,000–$64,000 base + uncapped commissions
Nuve helps HVAC contractors stay connected to their customers through smart thermostats and a powerful software platform built specifically for the trades. More than just hardware, Nuve provides contractors with real-time system insights and customer engagement tools that drive retention, efficiency, and growth.
This is not a traditional SDR role. While some prospects recognize Nuve and our leadership, much of the outreach is cold — giving SDRs the opportunity to build real outbound skills while benefiting from growing brand awareness in the market. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, sharpen your sales fundamentals, and help build pipeline for a fast-growing SaaS company.

What you’ll do:
• Prospect into cold and warm accounts to build pipeline through consistent outbound outreach
• Partner closely with Account Executives to book high-quality product demos
• Engage prospects via phone, email, and other outreach channels
• Learn and execute proven sales processes while piloting new outreach strategies
• Develop the core skills needed for long-term growth in a sales career

Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Inside Sales and Sales with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Skills in Lead Generation and Business Development to identify and nurture potential opportunities.
- Excellent Communication skills to engage with prospects and build effective client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Prior experience in the HVAC industry or SaaS sales is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales pipeline management tools is an advantage.
