AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences is recruiting a Sales Manager to represent AKA White House!
Our ideal candidate should be ready to hit the ground running with fully trained with experience in closing business and uncovering new opportunities for the property. The Sales Manager is energetic, highly organized, results-oriented, and team focused.
Team Member Requirements:
- Team Member should have intimate knowledge of Washington DC markets and segments of business surrounding AKA White House
- Perform site inspections daily for prospective individuals and companies
- Quick learner, eager to uncover new segments for the property
- Partners with management to execute and support the operation by making sure all contracts, client and booking information are fully accurate
- Participates in sales meetings, outside sales calls and relevant operational meetings as required
- Partner with Sales Team at Hotel AKA Alexandria for industry client events
- Utilize SELL CRM on a daily basis to record client information, key activities, and pipeline
- Achieve individual revenue goals set forth by Managing Director
- Use ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator to build prospecting lists, uncover new accounts and send campaigns
- Solicit new and existing accounts that have relocated or plan to relocate to DC, read news articles and press to be fully versed in the market
- Participate in formal RFP process and partner with Managing Director to submit bids via Lanyon
- Prepare pipeline reports as required
- Collaborate with Hotel AKA + Hotel Residences brand sales team to collaborate on business opportunities
- Build relationships with competitive set decisions
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years in hospitality, in a sales role
- Strong, problem solver and decision-making skills
- Must be energetic, self-starter and self-motivating
- Superior organization skills in high pace environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Strong time management, organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Must be able to interact with a diversified group of people both internally and externally
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from College or University
- Must have proficient knowledge of a variety of applications to include Outlook + Microsoft Suite
- Flexible schedule required based on clients’ needs and time zones
Salary:
- $65,000-$85,000/annually, based on experience
