Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer (WordPress & Web Experiences) to join our team. This role is focused on designing intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging websites, with a strong emphasis on WordPress-based solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of user experience strategy and user interface design, with experience creating content-driven, conversion-focused web experiences. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products that meet both user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and stakeholder discovery to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Design responsive, user-friendly web experiences optimized for desktop and mobile
- Design and optimize layouts within WordPress environments, including themes and page builders (e.g., Divi, Elementor, etc.)
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Ensure designs align with SEO best practices and conversion-focused strategies
- Conduct usability testing and analyze user behavior to continuously improve designs
- Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to inform design enhancements
- Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 Level AA)
- Participate in Agile workflows and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in UX/UI design for websites, preferably in WordPress environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing web design, UX process, and problem-solving
- Experience working with CMS platforms, especially WordPress
- Familiarity with page builders such as Divi, Elementor, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of responsive design, usability principles, and user-centered design
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS (JavaScript is a plus but not required)
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
