We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the non-profit sector, offering the chance to contribute to impactful financial projects while developing your analytical skills. Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Utilize Bloomberg Terminal and other tools to monitor financial markets and provide insights.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling accurate data and projections.
• Conduct research on financial trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards for data visualization and tracking key performance indicators.
• Review and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal and other financial tools.
• Understanding of financial markets and their key drivers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting complex data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software.
