Internship Overview
FDM internships involve a variety of tasks where interns will gain experience and an understanding of the luxury Lingerie, Swim, and RTW markets. Our studio is a collaborative team where all members work together to support our mutual growth. We will provide the candidate with experience and knowledge in many aspects of operating a small, but fast-growing company. You will have the opportunity to work with several departments including sales, e-commerce, PR and marketing, social media, production, and design.
Responsibilities
- Work with the PR and marketing team on press pulls for top publications, celebrity stylists, and influencers.
- Maintain press trafficking doc, always keeping information organized and up-to-date
- Take ownership of sample closet organization
- Archive previous collections and maintain log of all sampled styles and their location
- Manage studio inventory - receiving merchandise, sending to the warehouse and boutique
- Organize and log stock for sample sale and other events
- Track press placements and manage press credits
- Assist in setting up for press previews and events
Qualifications
- Highly organized and extremely detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities on a daily basis
- Ability to work independently and follow up on tasks assigned
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
