Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY for a Sales and Product Development professional. The role involves managing and growing customer accounts, presenting new collections, and driving sales across key retail and wholesale channels. Responsibilities include collaborating with design and sourcing teams to develop market-ready products, analyzing sales data and trends, and providing feedback on product performance. The individual will support the full product lifecycle, from concept and pricing to launch and post-launch review, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer needs. Day-to-day work also includes preparing sales materials, attending client meetings and maintaining accurate product and client records in line with company processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven Sales and Sales Management capabilities, with experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing pipelines.
- Customer Service expertise, with a focus on building long-term relationships and responding effectively to client needs.
- Background in product development, merchandising, or buying within home décor, consumer goods, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with data analysis and basic sales reporting using spreadsheets or CRM tools.
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
