AutoSmart Family of Dealerships, a well-established and growing automotive group serving Northwest Ohio, is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to lead financial operations across multiple rooftops. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in AutoSoft DMS and a strong track record managing dealership accounting in a multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all financial accounting, reporting, and month-end close processes utilizing the AutoSoft dealership management system across multiple dealership locations
- Oversee daily, monthly, and annual financial operations, including preparation of accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow management
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP, OEM requirements, floor plan financing, tax regulations, and all dealership-specific guidelines
- Collaborate with General Managers and senior leadership to analyze financial performance and drive profitability initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while implementing process improvements and internal controls
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience as Controller (or equivalent senior accounting role) exclusively within the automotive dealership industry
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with the AutoSoft DMS platform
- Proven success managing financial operations for multiple dealership rooftops/locations
- In-depth knowledge of dealership accounting principles, F&I operations, inventory reconciliation, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work full-time on-site at our Hamler, Ohio headquarters – remote arrangements are not available
Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
