We are a professional engineering company based in Palm Beach County, providing consulting services to condominium and commercial property owners throughout South Florida. Our work includes property evaluations, capital planning, and advisory services for building maintenance and improvements.
We are seeking a Reserve Study Consultant to assist with preparation of reserve studies and long-term capital planning reports.
Position Overview:
The Reserve Study Consultant will help evaluate building components, estimate remaining useful life, and develop reserve funding plans for condominium and association clients.
This role is best suited for someone with direct, hands-on experience preparing reserve studies who can work independently and produce high-quality, client-ready reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or assist with reserve studies for condominium and association properties
- Identify and evaluate major building components (roofing, paving, painting, mechanical systems, etc.)
- Estimate remaining useful life and replacement costs
- Develop reserve funding schedules using Excel or similar tools
- Prepare clear, organized, and professional reports
- Coordinate with team members to gather project information
- Update existing reserve studies as needed
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum 5 years of experience preparing reserve studies
- Strong understanding of building components and maintenance cycles
- Experience with cost estimating for capital repairs and replacements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Strong written communication skills
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with condominium or HOA properties in Florida
- Familiarity with reserve study standards (CAI or similar)
- Experience with reserve study software
Work Structure & Compensation:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (10–25 hours per week)
- Remote with occasional coordination as needed
