Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled DAS (Distributed Antenna System(iDAS/oDAS)) Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The DAS Designer will be responsible for creating comprehensive system designs that enhance wireless coverage and capacity across various construction projects. This role involves collaborating with electrical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to develop detailed schematics, layout plans, and system specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical systems, drafting, and CAD software, with a focus on delivering innovative and reliable DAS solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- AutoCAD, oDAS, iDAS - core skills needed
- DAS (Distributed Antenna System) Designer using iBwave is responsible for designing, modeling, and optimizing in-building wireless coverage solutions that support reliable 4G/5G connectivity.
- The role involves performing RF design and propagation modeling in iBwave, developing system layouts, selecting equipment, and ensuring signal strength, capacity, and coverage meet carrier and client requirements.
- The designer collaborates with RF engineers, project managers, and field teams to produce detailed design packages, including floor plans, cable routing, and equipment placement, while adhering to industry standards and building codes.
- Additional responsibilities include conducting site surveys, validating designs through predictive analysis, supporting deployment, and troubleshooting performance issues to ensure high-quality indoor wireless networks.
