This is an opportunity to go behind the scenes of how creator-led campaigns are concepted and brought to life at Open Influence—we're looking for summer interns who not only understand the social media landscape, but are excited to contribute creatively and learn how strategy turns into execution.

PROGRAM DETAILS
This is a
paid summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience in creator marketing.
- Schedule: 3 days per week (24 hours total)
- Format: 2 days in-office (New York) + 1 day remote
- Duration: Summer 2026
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Creative Strategy Intern, you will support the Creative Team in developing campaign concepts and strategic recommendations for a variety of brands. This program is designed to provide exposure to creative ideation, social trends analysis, and strategic storytelling, while building foundational skills in presentation development and creative problem-solving.
Throughout your internship, you'll have opportunities to:
- Support the development of campaign concepts by organizing research, references, and inspiration
- Assist in analyzing client briefs and summarizing key objectives, audiences, and deliverables
- Conduct research on social media trends, creators, and cultural moments to inform strategic recommendations
- Help build creative rationale by synthesizing insights into clear, digestible points
- Provide presentation support, including updating slides, sourcing visuals, and formatting decks
- Assist with basic design tasks using tools like Canva, Google Slides, or similar platforms
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and share creative ideas with the team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Design, etc.); Spring 2026 graduates welcome
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Interest in creative strategy, influencer marketing, and digital storytelling
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with an eagerness to learn
- Creative thinker with curiosity around trends, content, and culture
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to contribute in a team environment
The expected compensation for this internship is $20/hour.
