Job Title: Product Designer – UX / Purchase Experience (Hybrid – NYC)
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite preferred)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension/Conversion)
Pay Rate: $50/hour on W2
Work Authorization: Open to USC / GC only
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Product Designer (UX) to support the design and delivery of next-generation digital experiences within a complex, data-driven environment. This role will focus on purchase experience workflows, requiring strong ownership of end-to-end product design across web and mobile platforms.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end UX design from discovery through implementation
- Design and optimize complex workflows, including dashboards, forms, and process-driven systems
- Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers in Agile sprint cycles
- Translate business and user requirements into intuitive and scalable design solutions
- Conduct or support user research, usability testing, and data-driven decision-making
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data, and Content
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Product Design / UX Design
- Strong proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Experience designing complex enterprise workflows (dashboards, forms, process-driven systems)
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments with engineering teams
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, fintech, insurance, or regulated industries
- Exposure to AI-driven features or intelligent workflows (e.g., automation, AI-assisted UX)
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, FigJam, Miro
