Summary:
The Supply Management Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials to support production and customer demand. This role focuses on managing supply chain performance through key metrics such as Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, Backorder Cycle Time, and Delinquencies. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor material supply to meet production and customer requirements
Track and drive performance against key metrics: Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, FLASH orders, Backorder Cycle Time, and Delinquencies
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues
Analyze demand and supply data to identify risks and take proactive actions
Manage and prioritize urgent (FLASH) orders to minimize operational disruptions
Reduce backorders and improve cycle time through effective planning and follow-ups
Maintain accurate data and updates in systems such as SAP
Use Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors via email and phone
Ensure compliance with supply chain processes and organizational standards

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, tracking)
Strong communication skills across cross-functional teams
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in materials planning, procurement, or supply chain operations

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field

Desired Skills:

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Prior experience in supply planning, inventory management, or buying
Understanding of supply chain KPIs and performance metrics
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience working with global teams or suppliers

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $23.65- $23.65/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
