About the Role: Industrial Engineer
We are seeking a data-driven and process-oriented Industrial Engineer to design, implement, and optimize complex systems and integrated processes. In this role, you will be the primary architect of operational efficiency, bridging the gap between high-level organizational goals and shop-floor execution. You will focus on maximizing productivity, eliminating non-value-added activities, and ensuring that human, technical, and financial resources are utilized to their fullest potential.
Core Responsibilities
- System Optimization: Design and refine integrated systems of people, equipment, and materials using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance overall throughput.
- Workflow & Facilities Design: Develop optimized plant layouts, material flow patterns, and workstation ergonomics to minimize transit times and improve safety.
- Compliance & Validation: Author and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure all operational processes align with ISO standards, safety regulations, and corporate SOPs.
- Technical Documentation & Standards: Establish standard work, labor standards, and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) within PLM/ERP systems.
- Quality & Data Analysis: Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify variances; implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to maintain rigorous quality benchmarks.
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary technical interface between R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) and cost-effective scaling.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (Required).
- Experience: 0–5 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Technical Skills (Required):
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for facility layout and fixture design.
- Advanced mastery of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and operations research.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems for capacity planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Preferred Skills:
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in regulated environments (MedTech, Aerospace, or Pharma/GxP).
- Knowledge of simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) and PLC automation.
What We Offer
- Targeted Placement: Direct marketing to our network of hiring managers in the Industrial, Life Sciences, and MedTech sectors.
- Technical Resume Rebuild: Optimization of your profile to highlight systems engineering, validation, and operational excellence skills.
- Interview Coaching: Comprehensive guidance on technical interviews, system design assessments, and industrial case studies.
