Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Bio Mechanical Engineer, based in Cottage Grove, MN. The Junior Bio Mechanical Engineer will work closely with the engineering team to design, develop, and enhance medical devices. Daily responsibilities include supporting mechanical engineering designs, working with CAD software to create technical drawings, performing research and development (R&D), and contributing to machine design projects. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design techniques
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for technical drawings and 3D modeling
- Ability to assist in Research and Development (R&D) of medical devices
- Strong organizational skills for effective Project Management and team collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with the medical device industry and relevant regulatory standards is a plus
- Excellent communication and team-oriented skills
