We are seeking a Manufacturing Account Manager (Inside Sales & Customer Support) to join our team. This role requires strong customer service skills and an understanding of manufacturing process and flow. We are open to candidates who are earlier in their career, as long as they bring curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Position Overview
This role serves as a key connection point between EPS and our customers. You’ll manage accounts, support daily customer needs, coordinate with production and engineering, and ensure accurate, timely communication. Success in this role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to understand how parts move through a manufacturing environment.
You’ll work on‑site at our Alpharetta, GA facility as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer communication — Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Customer support — Provide timely, solutions‑focused service to customers.
- Issue escalation — Identify when to escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager.
- ERP management — Enter and maintain accurate customer and vendor data.
- Quoting support — Gather documentation and assist with preparing quotations.
- Order entry — Enter new and repeat customer orders.
- Release management — Update customer releases as needed (daily/weekly).
- Labeling — Create and update part labels.
- Engineering changes — Process customer‑submitted Engineering Change documentation.
- Vendor expediting — Follow up with vendors to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Problem‑solving — Ask effective questions to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Manufacturing flow understanding — Use your understanding of manufacturing process and flow to support quoting, engineering, and quality discussions.
- Team collaboration — Work closely with production, engineering, and sales.
- Task management — Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Customer visits — Assist with customer visits and audits.
- Written communication — Provide clear, professional written communication.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, inside sales, account management, or a related role.
- Foundational understanding of manufacturing process and flow (routing, lead times, production steps, etc.).
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive, self‑driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Sense of urgency when handling time‑sensitive tasks.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- ERP system experience required; JobBOSS preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn technical concepts related to cold forming, production flow, and machine capabilities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
