Opportunity | Account Executive (AE) | CybSec | Dallas, TX (Remote)
Athlete Origin are delighted to be working on behalf of a CybSec scale-up who are seeking to hire an Account Executive from an elite sporting background to join their growing team in the US.
Our client supports a diverse and growing customer base, from agile MSPs to larger, more complex service providers operating at scale. It’s a fast-moving, product-led environment where the focus is on delivering robust, security-first solutions that address real-world operational and compliance challenges. Operating within a space that is rapidly evolving and still far from fully optimised, they are capitalising on a significant global opportunity - enabling organisations to strengthen their security posture as they increasingly adopt cloud-first and Microsoft-centric ecosystems.
With a strong presence already established in the UK, they are using recent investment to expand their US arm. This is an opportunity for an AE to capitalize on a market leading product and experience excellent career & financial progression while the team continues to organically grow.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with internal teams and technical experts to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
- Attend business events and conferences to strengthen and build new relationships with potential prospects and promote the company's offerings
What you’ll need:
- AE experience - managing full deal cycles.
- Experience booking your own pipeline through outreach and a willingness to continue to do so for the short term.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network with peers, prospects and customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade in a business environment.
- A professional attitude, conduct and appearance.
- High performance sporting background.
- Right to work in the US.
