Role Description
In this role you will own the full accounting cycle for our charter operations processing client invoices, managing vendor payments, reconciling trip costs, and keeping the books clean. You will work directly with the operations and sales teams to track revenue and expenses on every flight, produce monthly financial reports for ownership, and support budget planning and cash flow management.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment. The right person is organized, dependable, comfortable with numbers, and eager to grow with a company that is scaling quickly.
What you will do: Accounts receivable and payable · General bookkeeping and reconciliations · Charter trip cost analysis · Budget vs. actual reporting · Crew expense management · Month-end close support
- Manage all financial accounts tied to charter aircraft and fleet operations
- Drive collections and client billing across all charter bookings
- Control outgoing payments to operators, vendors, and service providers
- Keep the general ledger accurate with timely entries and monthly close
- Deliver budget projections, cash flow reports, and performance analytics
- Analyze trip-level profitability and operational cost per flight
What we are looking for: 1+ years in accounting or bookkeeping · Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar · Strong Excel skills · Aviation or transportation experience a plus · Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling
• Familiarity with CRM and operations platforms (Salesforce, JetInsight, or similar)
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
