Staff Auditor – Remote

The Job:
As a Staff Auditor, you’ll be part of our Internal Audit team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:
- Execute internal audit engagements, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, and reporting phases (70% of time)
- Audit Planning: Participate in interviews and gather information to help develop audit work programs.
- Audit Fieldwork: Perform walkthroughs, testing, and analytical procedures according to established audit programs.
- Audit Report: Draft and share with auditees the findings identified and work with them to obtain proper root causes and remediation plans.
- Participate on External Audit (EY) Direct Assist work including testing and inventory counts (30% of time)
- Help identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities, with guidance from senior team members.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may indicate potential risks or control weaknesses.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with audit team members and management to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong organization, willingness to learn, and adaptability to effectively support audit engagements.
- Utilize effective communication skills to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Add value to the business. Have an impact on the bottom line.
- Participate in special projects.
- Work with a diverse team with varying backgrounds.
- Work on a team that has full support of senior management and the Audit Committee.

- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1-2 years of work experience in operations, internal audit, or public accounting preferred.
- CPA, CMA, or CIA candidates a plus
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Basic knowledge of internal controls, auditing procedures, and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop professional skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Domestic and international travel approximately 30%
- Role requires regular movement/traversing across large production and distribution areas.

The Salary range for this position is $62,200.00 - $100,200.00
