About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Content Manager to oversee and grow the digital presence of both Rachel Amsel (Founder & Personal Brand) and Affinity Home Care, a premium concierge home-care agency.
This role is ideal for someone who understands storytelling, aesthetics, and strategy, and can translate real-life moments, values, and impact into content that feels human, elevated, and emotionally resonant.
You will manage content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (short + long-form), Facebook, and LinkedIn, ensuring alignment with brand voice, tone, and long-term vision.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a content strategy for:
- Rachel’s personal brand (leadership, visibility, storytelling, purpose, behind-the-scenes)
- Affinity Home Care (trust, care, education, dignity, human connection)
- Create monthly content calendars for each platform
- Identify trends and adapt them in a way that fits a luxury, grounded, thoughtful brand
Content Creation & Publishing
- Film, edit, and/or coordinate short-form and long-form content
- Create:
- Reels / TikToks
- YouTube Shorts & longer YouTube videos
- LinkedIn thought leadership posts
- Instagram Stories (daily when needed)
- Write compelling captions with strong hooks and clear voice
- Ensure consistent posting across all platforms
Brand Voice & Aesthetic
- Maintain a cohesive visual identity (clean, warm, modern, intentional)
- Ensure tone is:
- Honest
- Emotionally intelligent
- Professional yet human
- Understand when content should be educational, inspirational, or intimate
Engagement & Growth
- Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement (as assigned)
- Help grow audience organically through:
- Smart hashtags
- Community interaction
- Strategic reposting and collaborations
- Track performance metrics and provide weekly or bi-weekly insights
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with Rachel to:
- Capture real moments (meetings, travel, events, reflections)
- Shape raw thoughts into powerful content
- Coordinate with internal team when needed for Affinity updates
- Repurpose content across platforms efficiently

Ideal Candidate
- 1–3+ years experience in social media or content creation
- Strong understanding of short-form video
- Comfortable filming and directing content on iPhone or camera
- Knows how to edit (CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere, etc.)
- Excellent writing skills — captions matter here
- Emotionally intelligent and intuitive
- Organized, proactive, and self-directed
- Understands personal brand + business brand dynamics
- Bonus: experience with wellness, caregiving, entrepreneurship, or lifestyle brands

ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with Affinity Home Care’s brand and values
- Create monthly content calendars for all platforms
- Ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned with healthcare compliance standards
Content Creation & Management
- Create and manage content across:
- Instagram
- TikTok
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- YouTube (short-form and long-form, as needed)
- Film, edit, and publish video content (primarily short-form)
- Write captions, headlines, and descriptions that are engaging, informative, and on-brand
- Schedule and post content consistently
Brand Voice & Compliance
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and trustworthy tone
- Ensure all content aligns with HIPAA and healthcare marketing guidelines
- Represent Affinity Home Care with discretion and integrity at all times
Engagement & Growth
- Monitor comments and engagement (as assigned)
- Support organic audience growth through thoughtful content and interaction
- Track performance metrics and report on engagement, reach, and growth
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with internal leadership to gather content ideas and updates
- Coordinate with team members for testimonials, caregiver highlights, and company updates
- Repurpose content across platforms efficiently
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of experience in social media management or content creation
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Experience with short-form video creation and editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or service-based industries is a plus
