JOB TITLE: CRM & Client Engagement Trainee
REPORTS TO: Director of CRM
Job Purpose:
The CRM & Client Engagement Trainee will support the CRM and Client Engagement Initiatives of the organization. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for an early professional with experience in CRM, marketing, fashion, retail, communications, or client engagement. The role will support clienteling initiatives, CRM reporting, campaign execution, customer journey coordination, and retail partnership efforts across the business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn, and passionate about luxury fashion, client experience, and relationship-driven marketing.
This traineeship is designed to provide foundational exposure to the luxury fashion industry through hands-on learning, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration. The role offers the opportunity to develop professionally in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while gaining practical experience supporting key business initiatives and retail partnerships.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
CRM & Clienteling Support
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly CRM initiatives and clienteling activities across retail boutiques
- Assist store teams with outreach tracking, client engagement initiatives, and CRM best practices
- Help maintain and support clienteling tools and CRM platforms used by retail teams
- Partner with boutiques to ensure elevated and personalized client experiences aligned with brand standards
- Assist with execution of client activations, gifting initiatives, and in-store events
Campaign Execution & Customer Journey
- Support the coordination and deployment of CRM campaigns across email, retail, and clienteling channels
- Assist in customer journey mapping and lifecycle initiatives focused on retention, reactivation, and client development
- Help monitor campaign performance, engagement metrics, and outreach completion
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare weekly and monthly CRM reports for management and retail teams
- Track outreach performance, campaign ROI, client engagement, and retention metrics
- Analyze client behavior and segmentation trends to support business insights
- Assist with reporting tied to events, gifting initiatives, and client activations
CRM Operations & Organization
- Maintain CRM data integrity, organization, and client segmentation accuracy
- Support data hygiene initiatives and client profile enrichment
- Assist in maintaining CRM calendars, trackers, presentations, and internal documentation
- Help coordinate cross-functional CRM requests and follow-ups
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with field and store teams to support event strategies built by Marketing & Communications team
- Support PR efforts for new store openings, VIP experiences, and in-store events
- Plan and execution of press previews, influencer events, and brand activation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Fashion Business, Communications, Business or related field
- Analytical mindset with comfort working in Excel and reporting tools
- Internship or prior experience in CRM, marketing, retail, fashion, clienteling, events, or customer engagement preferred
- Strong interest in luxury fashion, client experience, and relationship marketing
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for luxury client experience and elevated service standards
