We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and customer-focused Inside Sales Manager to support our growing business across sales, showroom operations, and customer account management. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is excited about the home furnishings and e-commerce industries.
The Inside Sales Manager will play a critical role in supporting customer relationships, managing day-to-day showroom and office operations, and assisting with sales initiatives across both smaller and larger strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Support
- Independently manage communications and strategy for growing specialty customer accounts while supporting tactical execution on larger strategic accounts
- Attend and support all customer meetings, showroom visits, and presentations
- Support on project management for customers working on product development, including closely monitoring timelines throughout the production cycle
- Manage sample logistics for all accounts
- Support sales reporting, order tracking, and administrative account management tasks as needed
- Occasionally assist with customer service and operational coordination based on specific account’s needs
- Account coverage may grow to include new channels such as brick & mortar and / or trade customers as business needs evolve
Showroom & Office Management
- Manage daily operations of the NYC showroom and office
- Coordinate office supplies, cleaning services, laborers, and other operational vendors as relevant
- Ensure the showroom remains organized, client-ready, and aligned with brand standards
Trade Shows & Travel
- Travel approximately once per month to support customer meetings, tradeshows, and other business needs
- Support tradeshow setup, merchandising, and logistics with longer travel windows of ~7 days expected twice per year
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in retail sales, digital marketing, merchandising, customer support, or a related role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate professionally across internal teams and external customers
- Highly organized with exceptional task management and prioritization skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other basic analytical functions)
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of independently navigating onboarding and training resources
- Experience or interest in the home furnishings industry preferred
