Position Overview
The Online Marketing Specialist will be responsible for helping develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that strengthen the Elite Orthodontics brand, attract new patients, and educate families across Northern Virginia.
This person should be comfortable working across several creative and technical areas, including video, photography, social media, paid ads, SEO, email marketing, landing pages, automation tools, CRM workflows, and AI-assisted campaign development.
The ideal candidate understands that modern marketing is not one-dimensional. It requires storytelling, data, creative direction, technology, speed, and the ability to identify opportunities before competitors do.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage digital marketing campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, patient inquiries, consultations, and starts.
Develop creative campaign concepts that educate families about braces, Invisalign, early orthodontic treatment, airway orthodontics, expansion, teen treatment, adult orthodontics, and overall smile confidence.
Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media, website campaigns, ads, patient stories, office culture, doctor education, community partnerships, and local brand-building.
Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and paid social campaigns.
Design branded graphics, ads, landing page assets, email visuals, presentations, and social media content using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that educate, nurture, and convert prospective patients.
Create email sequences for new leads, consultation follow-ups, patient reactivation, referral campaigns, seasonal promotions, Invisalign campaigns, braces campaigns, airway orthodontics education, and community partnership campaigns.
Write compelling email copy that feels educational, helpful, and aligned with the Elite Orthodontics brand rather than overly sales-driven.
Segment email audiences based on patient type, treatment interest, location, family needs, age group, campaign source, or stage in the patient journey.
Build automated email workflows that support patient intake, consultation scheduling, follow-up, reactivation, and long-term brand engagement.
Assist with SEO strategy, including blog content planning, local SEO optimization, website updates, keyword-focused campaigns, and Google Business Profile content.
Help manage and optimize PPC campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads to improve lead generation, patient acquisition, and campaign performance.
Build and improve marketing automations using tools such as Zapier, CRM platforms, email systems, lead forms, SMS tools, and AI-powered workflows.
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and other emerging platforms to speed up creative production, landing page development, ad testing, automation building, campaign execution, and internal workflow development.
Collaborate with leadership, doctors, treatment coordinators, and front office team members to identify content opportunities, patient education topics, campaign ideas, and community-based marketing opportunities.
Track campaign performance and provide insights on what is working, what needs improvement, and where new growth opportunities exist.
Monitor key marketing metrics, including ad performance, website traffic, lead volume, consultation bookings, email open rates, click-through rates, booking conversions, and audience growth.
Coordinate marketing efforts across social media, paid ads, email, SMS, SEO, landing pages, in-office campaigns, and community partnerships to create a seamless patient acquisition funnel.
Stay ahead of digital trends, especially in healthcare marketing, orthodontics, local SEO, paid social, email marketing, AI workflows, short-form video, and community-based brand building.
Ideal Candidate

You are someone who can see a patient story, office event, doctor insight, local partnership, community campaign, or educational topic and turn it into a full marketing campaign.
You are comfortable behind the camera, inside editing software, reviewing ad performance, writing email campaigns, building automations, designing creative assets, testing new ideas, and using AI tools to move faster.
You do not wait to be told every next step. You bring ideas, execute quickly, and care about making the brand stand out.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with videography and photography, including shooting, editing, and creating content for digital platforms.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, or similar creative tools.
Strong Canva design skills for quick-turn social media graphics, ads, presentations, email visuals, and branded content.
Understanding of SEO, local SEO, website content, Google Business Profile optimization, and keyword-driven content strategy.
Experience with paid advertising platforms, especially Meta Ads and Google Ads.
Experience or strong familiarity with email marketing platforms, email campaign strategy, audience segmentation, automated sequences, and performance tracking.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, forms, SMS tools, or lead tracking workflows.
Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or other platforms to support content creation, coding, automation, campaign ideation, and workflow development.
Strong writing skills for captions, ad copy, blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, and patient education content.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining brand consistency and attention to detail.
Interest in healthcare, orthodontics, family-focused marketing, local business growth, and community storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in healthcare, dental, orthodontic, aesthetics, fitness, wellness, or local service-based marketing.
Experience building landing pages or working with basic HTML, CSS, no-code tools, Webflow, WordPress, or AI-assisted coding platforms.
Knowledge of CRM systems, patient intake funnels, online booking flows, email nurture campaigns, SMS follow-up systems, and lead tracking.
Experience creating campaigns for local markets, especially competitive service-based industries.
Understanding of short-form video trends, storytelling hooks, content pacing, and social media platform behavior.
Experience with email platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar systems.
Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus, especially for campaigns serving Northern Virginia families.
