Role Description:
EMRG Media is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Planner & Event Sales Coordinator for a full-time, on-site position located in New York, NY. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events while managing budgets, building client relationships, and identifying sales opportunities. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, overseeing logistics, timelines, and event execution to ensure seamless experiences for clients. This is a dynamic role requiring exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, customer service, sales, or another client-facing role
- Sales Experience a Plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationships and team collaboration
- Event Planning and Event Management expertise for seamless coordination and execution
- Budgeting skills to effectively manage event costs and maximize profitability
- Sales experience with a proven ability to generate leads and close deals
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with event management tools and software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive, professional, and outgoing personality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events require it
- Desire to build a long-term career in the events industry
Preferred:
- Event planning or event coordination experience
- Corporate event experience
- Bar/Bat Mitzvah experience
- Hospitality, venue, catering, or nightlife experience
- Canva or graphic design skills
- Social media experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
Compensation + Benefits:
- $50,000-$65,000 base salary (based on experience)
