Summary of Responsibilities:
The Global Trade Finance USA – Intern (“GTF Intern”) will be supporting the Global Trade Finance Corporate Sales USA team based in New York in its day-to-day activities, including but not limited to Data Collection and Research, Financial Analysis, Modeling, Documentation, Business Development and Marketing, etc., as well as non recurrent projects related to our trade finance and working capital solutions products and clients.
In this role, the person will have exposure to all the products that we offer (letters of credit, supply chain finance, receivable finance, working capital facilities, etc.) and will work closely with the GTF product team as well as other internal partners (Legal, Credit, Global Client Coverage, etc.)
Skills, knowledge, abilities/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field – preferred
- Fluent in English (both oral and written) - Spanish (preferred)
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to integrate in a small but very diverse high productivity team environment
- Time management skills and flexibility to operate across multiple functions
- Proactive/self-starter: ability to perform functions in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong attention to detail, specifically for documentation, fee calculation and reporting
- Independent contributor who works well in the absence of supervision
- Proficient in productivity tools (spreadsheets, word processors, etc.)

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary is $90,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
