Position: Marketing & Social Media Coordinator
Location: The Wedding Ring Shop — Honolulu, HI

About the Role
The Wedding Ring Shop is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail‑driven Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to support and manage a wide range of marketing activities. This role touches every part of our brand—from design and digital campaigns to events, vendor management, and social media execution. Key Responsibilities
Creative & Design
- Design or coordinate the creation of event graphics, counter cards, web banners, landing page assets, social ads, and print collateral (golden tickets, booklets, etc.).
- Manage creative timelines to ensure all assets are delivered on schedule.
Email & SMS Marketing
- Draft, proof, and coordinate copywriting for bulk and segmented messaging campaigns.
- Build and execute campaigns using CRM, Podium, and Constant Contact.
- Pull, format, and segment client lists for sales team and general distribution.
- Create email and SMS templates for sales and support teams.
In‑Store Marketing
- Manage printing, production, and installation of in‑store signage (banners, counter cards, visual displays).
- Update monthly promotional content for stairwell TV.
Direct Mail & Co‑Op Support
- Execute direct mail campaigns from list pulling to stamping, mailing, and tracking.
- Submit co‑op files (designs, scripts) for brand approval and reimbursement tracking.
Event Coordination
- Plan and coordinate monthly in‑store events and holiday activations.
- Research and secure event vendors (caterers, musicians, bartenders).
- Collect W9s, process vendor payments, and maintain strict event budgets of $700–$900 per event.
- Gather and organize photography/video assets from event partners.
- Support bridal show preparation and miscellaneous marketing needs.
Social Media
- Shoot and edit high‑quality photo/video content while maintaining luxury brand aesthetics for Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and Google Business pages.
- Manage the full content lifecycle: planning, production, publishing, engagement, and analytics. Produce at least two new content concepts weekly or repurpose existing vendor content.
- Post daily, respond to DMs, engage with followers, and maintain community presence.
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and capture in‑store and event content.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of marketing, events, design, or related experience (luxury retail preferred).
- Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with email/SMS platforms (CRMs, Podium, Constant Contact).
- Skill in mobile photography/videography and editing apps (CapCut, InShot, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem solving and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability for evenings/weekends as needed for event support
Preferred Qualifications
- Luxury retail, jewelry, or high‑end brand experience.
- Familiarity with Yelp Business, Google Business, and Facebook Business tools.
- Basic graphic design and video editing abilities.
