Position Summary
Bracy Construction is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our core markets of healthcare, education, manufacturing, and municipal projects. We deliver exceptional outcomes through Design-Build, Construction Management (CM), and General Contracting services, and we are adding this key role to expand our already strong pipeline and deepen client relationships in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding regions.
This is a high-impact “rainmaker” position for a seasoned professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships. You will identify and secure new project opportunities while integrating closely with our established Lead Preconstruction Manager and Operations personnel to ensure every pursuit transitions smoothly into high-quality project execution. You will also directly supervise the Sales & Marketing Coordinator.
Highlighted Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities in healthcare (hospitals, clinics), education (K-12 schools, higher ed), manufacturing (industrial facilities), and municipal/government sectors throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding regions.
- - Build and maintain high-level relationships with facility directors, owners, developers, architects, engineers, and procurement teams to position Bracy Construction as the preferred partner for Design-Build, CM, and General Contracting projects.
- - Lead the full business development cycle: market research, early-stage client engagement, RFP/RFQ responses, proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- - Integrate and collaborate closely with our established Lead Preconstruction Manager and Operations personnel, along with estimating and project management teams, to ensure proposals are competitive, accurate, and fully aligned with our proven delivery strengths in Design-Build and CM.
- - Monitor and track public and private project pipelines (RFPs, capital improvement plans, master plans) and secure invitations to bid or negotiate on target projects.
- - Develop and execute a strategic business development plan with measurable goals for continued revenue growth and new client acquisition.
- - Supervise and mentor the Sales & Marketing Coordinator on proposal production, CRM management, marketing collateral, and lead nurturing activities.
- - Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, chamber meetings, and networking functions to expand our visibility and contact base.
- - Track and report on key performance metrics (pipeline value, win rate, new leads generated) on a monthly basis.
Required Qualifications
- - 5+ years of proven business development or sales experience in the construction industry (A/E firm BD experience strongly preferred).
- - Deep knowledge of Design-Build, Construction Management, and General Contracting** delivery methods.
- - Established network or the ability to quickly build relationships in healthcare, education, manufacturing, or municipal sectors.
- - Strong understanding of the Lehigh Valley regional market and capital project cycles.
- - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- - Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Procore), Microsoft Office, and proposal tools.
- - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- - Existing contacts with hospital systems, school districts, manufacturers, or municipal agencies in Pennsylvania.
- - Experience transitioning from architecture/engineering firms into construction BD.
- - Familiarity with local bidding platforms and public procurement processes.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
