What You’ll Do
As Service Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of service professionals responsible for supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of ABEC’s industry-leading equipment.
You’ll:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Service Engineering team
- Serve as a key escalation point for customer service and technical issues
- Drive resolution of complex mechanical and electrical equipment challenges
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project teams to improve products and customer experience
- Support equipment installations, startups, troubleshooting, and customer training
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness
- Develop service documentation, troubleshooting resources, and best practices
- Identify trends from customer feedback and influence future product improvements
- Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Travel approximately 20-25% to support customers and projects
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience leading and developing technical service, engineering, or field service teams
- Strong customer-facing experience with complex equipment or engineered systems
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for solving problems and delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma experience is a plus
- Experience with 3D CAD, drafting, and design concepts is beneficial
