THE POSITION
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the hands-on execution and optimization of paid digital advertising and SEO across the Gallaher Companies portfolio. Working from strategic direction provided by leadership, this role owns the day-to-day management of paid campaigns and organic search presence — ensuring our brands are visible, our budgets are working hard, and our results are clearly understood.
This is a practitioner role for someone equally comfortable inside ad platforms and Google Search Console. You connect the dots between paid and organic performance, communicate results in plain language, and bring a proactive mindset to both channels. You stay current on platform changes and SEO best practices, and you surface opportunities before they’re obvious.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Build and manage paid digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms, working from strategic direction provided by leadership.
· Own day-to-day campaign execution across the portfolio — audience setup, budget pacing, bid management, ad scheduling, and placement optimization.
· Monitor campaign performance continuously, making proactive adjustments to maximize efficiency and hit performance goals.
· Run structured A/B tests on audiences, placements, and ad formats to generate learnings and improve results over time.
· Manage advertising budgets across multiple brands, tracking spend and pacing with precision.
· Maintain tracking infrastructure — pixels, conversion events, UTM parameters, and GA4 — to ensure accurate attribution across all campaigns.
· Monitor and manage organic search performance across company websites using Google Search Console and GA4.
· Conduct keyword research to inform both paid and organic strategy, identifying opportunities to improve visibility across the portfolio.
· Implement and maintain on-page SEO best practices — metadata, page structure, internal linking, and content optimization.
· Track rankings, traffic, and organic lead performance, reporting findings and recommendations to leadership on a regular cadence.
· Build and deliver regular performance reports across both paid and organic channels — translating data into clear, plain-language insights and actionable recommendations for leadership.
· Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices, proactively surfacing relevant opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
· 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns — you’ve been in the platforms doing the work.
· Demonstrated proficiency with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager; experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, or programmatic platforms is a plus.
· Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals — on-page optimization, keyword research, Google Search Console, and technical SEO basics.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to read performance data across both paid and organic channels and present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
· Solid understanding of tracking fundamentals — pixels, conversion events, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and attribution models.
· Experience managing campaigns across multiple brands or business units simultaneously.
· Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines independently.
