Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Payments Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge fintech solutions, contribute to high-impact projects, and collaborate with talented professionals across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with banks and internal stakeholders to understand payment processing needs.
- Support implementation of payment products across ACH, Fedwire, RTP, FedNow, and SWIFT.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support UAT, production issue analysis, and client escalations.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend product enhancements.
- Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and payment regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 10 +years of experience in Banking or Payments.
- Strong Business Analyst understanding of ACH, Fedwire, RTP, FedNow, and SWIFT payment processing.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 payment messaging.
- Experience writing user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payment hubs or payment modernization platforms.
- Knowledge of compliance, sanctions screening, OFAC, AML, and fraud controls.
- Experience with APIs, payment integrations, and file-based payment processing.
- Exposure to banking products and treasury management systems.
