Senior Associate role focused on enterprise reporting and business intelligence at a buy-side investment firm. This position blends SQL, advanced Excel, and BI tools to deliver dashboards, analytics, and data-driven insights across Finance, Operations, and IR. Highly visible, cross-functional role with strong ownership in a lean environment.
Responsibilities
• Produce reports, dashboards, and analyses for business teams
• Turn business questions into data queries, metrics, and visuals
• Query and validate data using SQL in a relational database
• Build and maintain Excel models and reporting files
• Develop BI dashboards for self-service insights
• Partner with internal teams to refine reporting needs and logic
• Support data quality, consistency, and documentation
Qualifications
• 4+ years in data, BI, or analytics roles
• Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Background in financial services preferred
• Ability to connect data outputs to business use cases
• Comfortable in lean, high-ownership environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Nice to have: Python and exposure to AI tools
