Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating custom cabinetry solutions that meet clients’ aesthetic and functional needs. Your expertise will help transform spaces through expert layout design, material selection, and innovative use of lighting and finishing details. As a key player in our design process, you will collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, and construction professionals to deliver high-end, tailored cabinetry solutions that elevate interior environments. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cabinet layouts and designs using SketchUp, CAD, 20-20 and other design software to visualize concepts clearly for clients and construction teams
- Engage in outside sales activities by meeting with clients at their homes or commercial spaces to understand their needs and present design options
- Conduct product demos showcasing cabinetry styles, lighting options, and finishing techniques to inspire clients and upsell premium features
- Collaborate with clients during renovation or remodeling projects to ensure designs align with their vision while adhering to construction constraints
- Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines with clients to secure high-end sales while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors during installation to ensure quality craftsmanship, proper maintenance, and timely completion of projects
- Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, organization, and follow-up to foster repeat business and referrals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in interior design or cabinetry layout design using SketchUp, 20-20, CAD or similar tools
- Strong background in high-end sales, negotiation, and customer service within renovation or remodeling industries
- Knowledge of lighting design, retail math, merchandising, and POS systems is highly desirable
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse client bases effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through installation
- Familiarity with construction processes, maintenance requirements, and inside/outside sales strategies
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements, cost estimation, and budgeting

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
