About Zero Industrial
Zero Industrial is a leading developer of industrial electrification projects that help make our customers more competitive. We fund, own, and operate on-site industrial electrification systems — electric boilers, thermal energy storage, and heat pumps — and sell clean, reliable heat to industrial customers under long-term agreements. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, we’re a small, fast-moving team building an international pipeline of projects.
About the Role
As our Marketing & Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll be the engine behind our commercial team’s output. You’ll own the Salesforce pipeline data that drives our decisions and produce the presentations — pitch decks, proposals, and board and investor materials — that represent Zero Industrial to customers and partners. This is a high-visibility, AI-forward role: we’ll rely on you to turn out polished, accurate materials quickly using the latest AI tools, and to help build the automated workflows that keep our commercial operation running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our business development and leadership teams and have real room to grow as the company scales.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain our materials library. Own our pitch decks, one-pagers, proposals, and board and investor presentations — keeping everything polished, on-brand, and consistent.
- Produce presentations on demand. Turn out clean, accurate, executive-ready decks quickly using PowerPoint and AI-assisted design tools (Claude and Claude Design), so the commercial team always has best-in-class materials.
- Own Salesforce data quality. Keep our pipeline accurate and current across the funnel so the CRM is a reliable source of truth the whole team can act on.
- Build reports and dashboards. Create Salesforce reports and dashboards that give leadership clear, real-time visibility into the pipeline.
- Prepare for commercial meetings. Pull pipeline reports, status views, and supporting materials for recurring team and leadership meetings.
- Build AI-assisted workflows. Partner with the team to design and run automated, AI-driven workflows that streamline materials production and data capture.
- Keep work on track. Help manage timelines across active deals and deliverables, and flag what needs attention so nothing slips.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on Salesforce experience, including reporting and dashboards. You’ve worked inside a well-run CRM, you know what strong pipeline management looks like, and you can build the reports and dashboards leadership needs.
- Excellent presentation skills. You produce clean, executive-ready decks in PowerPoint, and you’re fluent with AI-assisted design tools (Claude and Claude Design) to do it fast and well. This is just as central to the role as the Salesforce work.
- Ruthless attention to detail. Our materials and our data have to be accurate and polished every single time.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools. You treat AI as the default way to get work done, not an afterthought, and you’re excited to push what it can do.
- Strong organization and reliability. You’re dependable with deadlines and disciplined about version control.
- Local and on-site. Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Charleston area, and able to work from our office.
Bonus Points
- Background in marketing, sales support, or revenue operations.
- A good eye for design and brand.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced commercial environment.
- Industry or energy-sector knowledge — not required, but a plus if you have it.
