Summary
We are seeking a motivated Performance Engineer / Technical Support Engineer to support diesel engine product performance, dealer technical inquiries, data management, and factory hot test operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in engine systems, technical support, data analysis, and product applications while working closely with engineering teams and factory operations.

Responsibilities:

Support dealer technical sales inquiries and provide technical assistance related to diesel engine products.
Assist with DTO (Design-To-Order) processing and related documentation activities.
Support data publication, maintenance, and reporting activities.
Assist factory hot test operations by supporting quality and velocity improvement initiatives.
Analyze engineering and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Track, manage, and complete assigned tasks through the work request management system.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and team leads to resolve technical issues and support ongoing projects.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
Support troubleshooting and investigation activities related to diesel engine performance and product quality.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
2-4 years of relevant engineering experience (internship experience may be considered).
Basic understanding of diesel engine operation and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office 365, and computer-based systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work onsite full-time.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting engine testing, validation, technical support, or product performance activities.
Familiarity with Client engine products and configuration processes
Experience using MATLAB for data analysis.
Knowledge of SQL, Crystal Reports, Power BI, Visual Basic, or Excel Macros.
Experience working in manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, power systems, or diesel engine environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable interacting with senior engineers and leadership teams.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $34.00- $35.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
