Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Executive at BTX Global Logistics. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across the company’s transportation and logistics service lines. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, preparing and delivering tailored proposals, and negotiating pricing and service agreements in line with company guidelines. The role also involves managing and growing existing accounts, coordinating closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The Sales Executive will maintain an up-to-date pipeline, track activity and results in the CRM system, and provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in B2B sales, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new business opportunities.
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships, with strong account management and client retention abilities.
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, or supply chain services (air, land, sea freight, distribution, or fulfillment) is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex services in clear, customer-focused terms.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, including time management, self-motivation, and proficiency with CRM and virtual collaboration tools.
- Ability to analyze customer needs, interpret pricing and margin requirements, and develop competitive proposals.
- Previous experience in a quota-carrying sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
