Role Description This is a remote, contract CPG sales role focused on expanding The Frozen Bean’s presence within consumer packaged goods channels. The individual in this role will identify and qualify new retail and food service prospects, manage a sales pipeline, and conduct virtual meetings and product presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include building relationships with distributors and buyers, negotiating pricing and promotional programs, and coordinating with internal teams on inventory, logistics, and product launches. The role involves tracking sales performance, preparing regular reports and forecasts, and providing market feedback to support product development and marketing initiatives. The person in this position is expected to work independently, maintain consistent communication with clients, and represent The Frozen Bean’s brand and quality standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience in CPG sales, account management, and business development within food and beverage or related industries.
- Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder communication with buyers, distributors, and key accounts.
- Ability to manage pipelines, use CRM tools, and analyze sales data to drive results and prepare forecasts.
- Knowledge of retail and food service channels, including merchandising, promotions, and category management practices.
- Comfort with remote work, virtual presentations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, logistics).
- Proactive, self-directed work style with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience with international sales or export processes is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
